SOBRE MÍ/ ABOUT ME
Soy arquitecta y Magíster en Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Chile, MPhil y PhD en Arquitectura de la Universidad de Cambridge. He sido Profesora en la Universidad Católica de Chile y en la Universidad Mayor (Chile), Investigadora Asociada en la Universidad de Cambridge, Investigadora Postdoctoral en CEDEUS y CIGIDEN (Universidad Católica de Chile) y Profesora Invitada en la University College of London (UCL). Actualmente soy Profesora Asociada y Directora del Laboratorio Ciudad y Territorio (LCT) en la Universidad Diego Portales, Chile .
Mi investigación se centra en la sustentabilidad, resiliencia y recuperación después de desastres en los territorios vulnerables. Mis propuestas buscan reforzar la idea de que los procesos de emergencia y reconstrucción pueden ser una oportunidad para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes de nuestras ciudades de una manera sustentable y segura.
I am an architect with a Masters in Architecture from Universidad Católica de Chile, and I hold an MPhil and PhD in Architecture from the University of Cambridge. I have been a Lecturer at Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad Mayor (Chile), a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, a Postdoctoral Researcher at CEDEUS and CIGIDEN and a guest Lecturer at the University College of London (UCL). I am currently an Associate Professor and the Director of the City and Territory Lab (LCT) at Universidad Diego Portales, Chile.
My research focuses on sustainability, resilience and post-disaster recovery in vulnerable territories. My proposals seek to reinforce the idea that the emergency and reconstruction processes can be an opportunity to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of our cities in a sustainable and safe way.
